Grounded in Inquiry: Exploring Meaning Through Depth Psychotherapy.

Over the years, my practice has grown to serve those navigating life’s deepest transitions and questions — the places where meaning, loss, identity, and transformation converge. Though each of my specialties may appear distinct — depth psychotherapy, (Peri)Menopause(Post)™, early childhood trauma, grief and loss, helpers and healers, seniors and elders, and cancer support — they all arise from a common root: existential inquiry.

I became a specialist in these areas not by design, but through years of listening — to patients, to loved ones, to my own lived experience, and to the quiet voice that asks, “What now? What next? What does it mean to live fully, even here?”

My study and training in existential Jungian depth psychotherapy—informed by both Western and Eastern philosophies as well as post-modern therapeutic modalities—invite one to face life’s inevitable suffering not as pathology, but as a portal to authenticity and meaning. Drawing from Jungian thought, Buddhist mindfulness, and narrative practice, I help clients explore how life transitions—loss, illness, aging, and death—can become opportunities for psychological and spiritual growth.

Whether you are mourning a loved one, caring for others, entering the threshold of (peri)menopause(post), or reckoning with early wounds that still echo, our work together centers on cultivating presence, self-compassion, and purpose amid uncertainty.

All of these paths, in the end, return to the same question: How do I live meaningfully in the face of change, limitation, and impermanence?

Existential Angst

Being in alignment with the Self is a central tenet of depth psychotherapy, speaking to the essence of human authenticity. Individuals often live unconsciously in ways that contradict their true nature, acting out of alignment due to external influences and learned belief systems.

Reclaiming alignment with oneself requires a deep engagement with self-awareness and existential reflection. One begins by questioning the belief systems and values that have been inherited from external sources. This process involves distinguishing between imposed ideologies and personal truths, allowing for the emergence of an authentic self.

Perimenopause and Menopause Counseling

(Peri)Menopause(Post)™

(Peri)Menopause(Post)™ is a threshold invitation to shed old identities, reclaim lost parts of the Self, and step into a new, wiser sovereignty. I work with women entering middle life by offering a space of deep understanding, safety, and reverence for the profound changes they are experiencing.

Today, as women reclaim their voices and demand deeper understanding and support, there is a growing recognition that (Peri)Menopause(Post)™ deserves the same attention, research, and respect afforded to every other significant stage of human development. Together, we explore not only the psychological and emotional shifts, but also awaken the creative forces and divine spirit that have lived within them all along.

Early Childhood Trauma Counseling

Early Childhood TRauma

Early childhood trauma lives not only in our memories but in our bodies, our nervous systems, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are. Yet trauma is not who you are. It is what happened to you. And healing is possible.

Healing emerges when we listen to the body’s signals, calm the mind’s protective narratives, and nurture the spirit’s longing for wholeness. Each session is attuned to where you are in your process, honoring both the pain that was and the possibility that is becoming. In 2026, I will offer opportunities for experiential learning through Equine Assisted Psychotherapy a relational modality with horses can support regulation, boundary awareness, and trust in connection.

Grief and Loss Counseling

Grief & Loss

Each loss is unique. Each expression of grief is unique. There is no “right” way to grieve. In our work together, I recognize your mourning as an individual person with and individual loss. I meet you where you are in your grieving process, assuring you that grief does not have a set of stages or a timeline.

We work together to identify personal metaphors for your grief, and I provide validation for your wide range of emotions. Through the integration of healing talk therapy, expressive arts, and meaning-making exercises, you are able to share your loss stories, find meaning in your loss(es), and reconstruct a life that helps you maintain continuing bonds while reconstructing your new life.

Seniors & Elders Counseling

As a senior and elder of our world, your knowledge, wisdom, and experiences have informed and contributed to younger generations—be they from your family, your neighborhood, your vocation, or your community. You may find yourself adjusting to myriad changes in your life and feel a sense of loss of control. Perhaps you recently retired and wonder: What now?

I welcome you into my practice without judgement and meet you where you are—wherever you are—and walk alongside you as you reflect, muse, and discover what life on this planet has meant to you and all those you have touched.

Helpers & Healers Counseling

Helpers & Healers

Caring for others can be profoundly meaningful—and profoundly exhausting. Helpers and healers take many forms: medical professionals, therapists, teachers, bodyworkers, parents, partners, and friends. While caregiving often brings a sense of purpose, it can also lead to depletion, isolation, and grief.

Psychotherapy offers a private space to slow down, feel seen and understood, and reconnect with your own needs and vitality. Many arrive in therapy feeling depleted, disconnected, or burdened by the quiet weight of responsibility. I create a safe and confidential space to speak freely, reflect deeply, and explore ways to restore emotional balance and well-being.

Cancer Support Counseling

Cancer counseling

Receiving a cancer diagnosis is a shock to multiple systems—physical, emotional, vocational, relational, financial, spiritual, intellectual, and environmental. Some cancer patients describe receiving their diagnosis as traumatic, while others describe treatment as medical trauma.

You are a survivor because you have suffered and survived one of life’s greatest challenges head on: Facing one’s own morality.
